ReStory system requirements on the Steam store, checked November 1, 2026, are minimums for Windows and macOS. Steam does not list a Linux build. The store also lists single-player play, achievements, trading cards, partial controller support, DualShock and DualSense support, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing.

Windows minimum: Windows 10 64-bit, a 2-core / 4-thread CPU, 4 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 750 Ti, DirectX 11, and 1 GB of free storage.
Mac minimum: macOS 14 or newer, an Apple M1 processor, 8 GB of RAM, Apple integrated graphics on that M1, 1 GB of storage, and an Apple processor. Patch 1.0.013r said the game should work on old Intel Macs and fixed Mac memory issues. That patch note and the later store minimum are both on record. This page does not treat the patch sentence as a replacement for the store's M1 line.
Steam Deck and graphics presets
The October 27, 2026 Fuzzby announcement says ReStory became Steam Deck Verified and added quality-of-life work for handheld play. Patch 1.0.033r adds graphics presets for Steam Deck, Steam Deck OLED, and Steam Machine, plus automatic graphics detection, including Mac presets. Presets can be changed from the pause menu. Graphics settings save on the computer and are not synced through Steam Cloud. The Steam Deck page keeps the control notes.
The same update disabled depth-of-field blur to reduce GPU load and fixed painting on older graphics cards. If the game stutters, start with the stuttering checklist rather than a made-up frame cap.
Phones
The Fuzzby announcement says mobile versions are in progress, with an Android pre-order on Google Play and iOS later. That post does not give phone hardware minimums. The PC and Mac lines above are the Steam requirements, not a phone spec sheet.
